MY STORY

About Me

My name is Rebecca Jade, an architectural graduate from The University of Auckland.

Growing up in Auckland, New Zealand and Jersey, Channel Islands, I travelled a lot, igniting my passion for architecture and history.

Studying for three years, I discovered my love for green architecture, writing, photography, and nature.

My Philosophy

We are so incredibly lucky, every single day, to have the capacity to truly and deeply appreciate the beautiful planet that created us. Lush green forests, dehydrated deserts, icy mountain tops, hot sandy beaches, vast oceans, and the expansive universe we hang in. The magical wonders of our diverse world never cease to amaze me.

The highly contrasting allure extends to the roaming creatures, each one different. From the tiny insects to the giant sea dwellers, the variety is immensely impressive,

As is our own species, each person individual. Revolutionising ideas, making history, changing lives, and the exponentially rapid period of technology, communication, understanding, and acceptance, we live in today.

As well as our ever increasing population. As architecture reaches massive shortages, invasions, expanses, and innovations, it is our responsibility to wholly respect the wonders of our planet, animals, and fellow human beings. We must work our architecture to become part of this planet, as animals and architects have before us. We must create pieces that illuminate our planet with knowledge, peace, and appreciation.
